Let yourself be taken back to the famous 19th century Flamenco Cafe de Chinitas in Spain. It was here that famous bullfighters, gypsies, flamencos and aficionados met.
This show, presented by Maria Elena from Flamenco NZ (founded 1993), includes live Flamenco Guitar, Song and Dance by Maria Elena, Alexandra Laubli, Guy Steward, Teri Kay, Nik Smythe- Classical Guitar duo Sasha and Natarani Witten- Hannah and Argentine Tango dancers John Flower and Natallia Ramanchuk.
The Harmony Hall is located 2 min from the Devonport Ferry terminal and there is plenty of street parking nearby. Feel free to dress Spanish style. There are some prizes for the best Spanish dress. Also BYO and bring a plate (optional). The show starts at 8 pm. Doors open at 7.15 pm.
