The 16 October show features Juliet McLean, Barry Carter trio, and Kenny’s First Set.
Juliet McLean - Taranaki songwriter, Juliet McLean, is celebrating the release of her stunning EP ‘Amaze Me’, with a seven show solo national tour. ‘Amaze Me’, produced by Ben King (Goldenhorse, Grand Rapids), showcases Juliet’s well crafted song-writing and refined musicianship with intimate minimal production. “I’m excited to be able to share these new songs as they were written – just me and a keyboard with a story to tell”
Barry Carter Trio - Featuring songs from Barry’s rock days in Australia, and Americana days in the US, Barry is supported by the talents of Marian Carter on Vocals, Alto Sax, Clarinet, and Mandolin, and Graham Parker on Bass Fiddle.
.
Kenny’s First Set - After writing angry post punk for the past 2 years, Kenny has been writing more intimate and direct stories; surrounding complex grief and its processes. It is not fun but it will be real.
