Andrew Fagan and his band wrap up 2021 with a one-off concert in Mt Eden for the VillageMusic Series of soirées – performing songs from his solo and Mockers years.
This concert is the band’s first since their April North Island tour – with plans for shows further south curtailed by Auckland’s lockdown.
Fagan’s career spans over 40 years, from his time as frontman of punk group The Ambitious Vegetables, pop-rockers The Mockers, to his ongoing solo career.
His most recent musical vehicle - Fagan and The People – dynamically presents laconic social commentary classics such as Exciting, Astonishment, Now You Know, Get Light, Jerusalem, and On Channel Me – plus a healthy dose of Mockers' pop sensibility.
Fagan & The People’s 2020 album Act Normal was the catalyst for more shows for the band comprising Darryn Harkness, Kurt Shanks, Joe Dekkers- Reihanna, and John Murray.
