Finalist for the APRA Best Country Music Song 2021 award, Kendall Elise has revealed new dates for her Let The Night In album release tour. Roaming the range from soul stirring country-gothic ballads to full blown barnstormers, the Papakura songwriter launched her second studio record to significant acclaim in late August, and it'll be well worth the wait when Elise with band The Belgraves and support Beth Torrance finally hit stages across the North Island in February, March and April 2022.
Let The Night In audiences and reviewers at the Auckland, Thames, Wellington and Tauranga shows are singing the artist's praises:
\\Last night was magnetic, I couldn’t take my eyes off Kendall... for the first time in a long time, I felt a sense of community again.\\ - Charlotte Lightbody, Ambient Light
\\What an awesome gig... Kendall has an incredible voice and the band are a supremely talented bunch of gents\\ - Nick Ribton
\\Kendall Elise is one to watch. She has great stage presence and is a keen song writer... With a musical palette, and a voice that spans soulful torch ballad, vigorous rockabilly and delicate, fragile acoustic numbers she’s a little bit of Grace Slick, Stevie Nicks, Lorretta Lynn and Emmy Lou Harris all mixed together.\\ - Tim Gruar, Ambient Light
\\Kendall was in excellent voice and the band was firing on all cylinders... Along the way Kendall told stories, joked with a crowd and reminded us all why we love live music.\\ - Marty Duda, The 13th Floor
We place huge importance on the safety of our audience, the venue staff and the band so mask wearing is encouraged.
