This gig will happen as a seated show at level 2.
Pōneke post-punks Goya (fka Church of Goya) have got some shiny new songs that they want to show you. Their new EP ‘Being Earnest’, the follow up to their 2018 album ‘GOYA IS A DEAD MAN’, is almost finished gestating and ready to be brought into this cold world. To celebrate, they are going to the people.
Lucas (EUG, Lucky Jim), Jono (Soft Plastics, The Spectre Collective) and Frazer (EUG, Mothers Dearest) are very excited to be hitting the road, armed with a Ford Falcon, new music and a jaded outlook. Throughout the first half of October they’ll be roaming round Aotearoa, posting up at a dive bar near you and sharing the stage with some new and old friends. Punters can expect the Goyans’ usual loud and infectious noise, plus new songs bringing hard grooves and dripping with venom. There might also be the occasional power tool involved…
