These extraordinary musicians’ skills are in constant demand, so a BottleLake Junction concert is a rare and special treat.
Brought together by mutual respect and a love of good country music, Jeremy, Mary and Phil present original songs and tunes, top notch arrangements and tight three-part harmonies. With around ten instruments between them, BottleLake Junction’s sound is an exciting and dynamic experience.
Jeremy Brownbrooke - (vocals, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, guitar) is an expert in just about every genre, particularly bluegrass, celtic, medieval and country fusion. He has a repertoire as big as the great outdoors.
Mary Dunne - (vocals, guitar, bouzouki, percussion) originally from Donegal, is an award-winning songstress with three albums to her credit. A fine rhythmist and enchanting vocalist, she is much loved in the folk and Irish music scene.
Phil Doublet - (vocals, guitar, resonator, banjo) is a multi-award winning artist with five solo albums, and featuring on many more. He is considered one of the best New Zealand country artists.
$10 Members, $15 Non-Members and Students $5 with ID
Doors open 7pm. Performance starts at 7.30pm. You will get a seat if you arrive close to 7pm.
Plenty of well-lit off-street parking.
Door sales cash only: Tea, coffee, biscuits and cake available during the break, also bar facilities for cold refreshments throughout the night, Eftpos available for bar purchases only, no cash-out facility. Folk Club and Irish Society members please bring your current membership card as required for licensing. Non-members sign in at the bar.
