Klutch Productions & the YOT Club present Strangely Arousing with very special guests Leighton Fairlie and DJ SULU.
The boys have decided to throw a klutch, post lockdown-shindig at one of the best spots in NZ. Yot Club is stoked to welcome back Strangely's signature yet undefinable sound.
The twenty-something 5-piece collective, hailing from Rotorua are proud to release their latest track Rain, the first single from their much-anticipated EP ‘Don’t Panic’.

Strangely straddles the line between the bizarre you know you love and the weird you don’t know you love yet, like old pros. Whether you come to marinate in dubs and bass, or simply to melt into a puddle on the floor, Strangely Arousing offers a new wave of music inspired by New Zealand’s legendary hip-hop and reggae dub forefathers.
Joining them is Leighton Fairlie - a loop artist who started out in Mount Maunganui and is now based in Auckland. This project sees him mixing a range of dub, roots, hip hop, drum and bass and acoustic elements into a captivating and unique sound.
Melding the night together on the decks, percussion and undeniably sexual vocal groans - DJ SULU aka Daniel Weetman. An experienced musician, who's main hustle is as a frontman for legendary NZ reggae group The Black Seeds, is diversifying and bringing an electric, eclectic mix of tunes to the YOT Club.
