Join Cedd and Edie Grace for an intimate evening of contemporary folk tunes.
Cedd is a singer-songwriter, based in Auckland. Cedd is a classically trained singer and has sung with both professional and community companies in NZ and Australia, including Aio, Encore Theatre Company Tasmania, and The Graduate Choir. Cedd is a self-described musical magpie who takes tidbits from across genres and weaves them together with words, to create his songs. Cedd is currently writing new music, with the help of a few resident pigeons and his kitten Cosmo.
Hailing from Wellington, Edie Grace creates folk music with a catchy pop sensibility. With melodies that are uniquely familiar and frank lyrics that resonate with dreamer in all of us, her relaxed performance is both inviting and engaging. In summer 2015/16 Edie Grace released 'The Demos' on Bandcamp, three raw tracks produced by Amy Wright of the Melbourne duo Beloved Elk. Edie Grace is currently based in Auckland, writing new material, and playing regularly around the city.
