Legendary Scottish guitar-wreckers The Jesus And Mary Chain are returning to Aotearoa this coming March, for headline events at Aucklands The Powerstation and Wellingtons Opera House. The feedback-loving core duo of brothers William and Jim Reids 1985 masterpiece Psychocandy remains hugely influential for a fresh wave of emerging dream-pop and shoegaze artists today. Still active in the studio as well as the stage, the band were last here to play their aforementioned classic album in full in 2016, and unveiled that year their seventh studio album Damage and Joy, the groups first collection since 1998s Munki.
