On August 27th Thought Creature will release their second album Ocean Dream through Fantasy Fiction Records, thier first full length since 2008´s Teleport Palace. Ocean Dream was recorded by the band and mixed and co produced by Bevan Smith while the group were between New Zealand and Berlin. Wellington's ex Happy Bar Studio and the hull of Wellington's iconic Tug Boat were used as the primary recording spaces for the album.
Thought Creature have been on an extended hiatus with members Danny Brady focusing on Dunedin projects Death and the Maiden and Elan Vital and Berlin based Will Rattray continuing to produce and play with Full Moon Fiasco and under disco moniker Cosmic Palms.
The band will tour New Zealand over April to celebrate the release of the album with guest musicans Andy Frost (Tiger Tones) on drums and Jelena Mirceta (Full Moon Fiasco) playing synthesisers. These will be there only New Zealand shows for 2018!
