Few vocalists can claim to have worked with such a diverse array of musicians, a true testament of her capabilities, talent and versatilely, Fatima’s list of collaborators spans the likes of Floatings Points, Shafiq Husayn, Dam Funk, Scratcha DVA, Dorian Concept, Scoop Deville, Ras G and Teebs to name but a few. Born in Stockholm, Sweden but currently residing East London, Fatima is a nomadic child of the cosmos, drawing upon life inspiration and energy in everything from LA Freeways, London basements and The Sea through to Earth Wind And Fire and the sky above. Alexander Nut has made a name for himself as one of the UK’s most diverse and influential Dj’s and tastemakers, blending all corners of the musical spectrum, be it a glimmering prism of late-night futurism or a tropical mix of sun soaked rhythms. Having honed his skills at London’s legendary Plastic People, the highly respected Dj’s unique vision has seen him play to some of the finest dance floors around the globe. An avid record collector, his expansive taste and knowledge draws heavy on influences from House, Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz, Afrobeat, Techno and Funk… uninhibited by tempo or time zone. Alex is also the man behind Eglo Records, the label he co-founded with Floating Points in 2008, home to some of the most exciting, forward thinking music coming out of the UK.
