The Map Room are back with a new album!!
Their 2nd album 'Weatherless' is out April 7th and they are playing two shows in Auckland and Wellington to celebrate.
Friday April 7th: Whammy Backroom, Auckland w/ Mulholland
Saturday April 8th: Meow, Wellington w/ Joe Blossom
Weatherless comes 4 years after their critically acclaimed debut album, and explores the struggle and endeavor for clarity and being ‘truly present’, as time relentlessly marches on and we are constantly reminded of our past and future.
From the pulsing opener ‘Colour’, to the driving first single ‘Other Animal’ and the looping pulse of ‘Hold Me Up To The Sun’, Weatherless is full of infectious melodies, experimental production and head-nodding rhythms, pushing the bands sound in new directions while staying true to the foundations laid in their debut.
They play Backroom at Whammy Bar in Auckland on April 7 with support from Mulholland, and Wellington at Meow on Saturday, April 8 with support from Joe Blossom.
Weatherless will be available from April 7. CD and Vinyl sales available at the shows!
