What’s better than a great gig' Cheap whisky, sipped while enjoying a great gig! Come enjoy both with the rowdy blues hollas and smoky folk ballads of Aotearoa New Zealand’s favourite heart-breaking highwayman – Callum Gentleman.
This rolling stone keeps gathering fans around the country, and now, for the first time, he’s bringing his show to Hamilton, Gisborne and Tauranga, while returning to Whangarei and Dunedin.
Mr. Gentleman is joined on the road by his henchmen; Joel Vinsen (wailing guitar) and Sam Loveridge (yowling violin.)
Some of New Zealands finest acts will share the stage with the lads in support of the tour.
Miss Peach and her dark alternative folk band The Travellin’ Bones will bring tales of love, loss and intrigue to Devonport, Tauranga, The Wine Cellar and Gisborne. A very special guest on any show, Miss Peach and The Travellin’ Bones’ critically acclaimed debut album “Sand” was released late January.
The Wine Cellar in Auckland has Mice on Stilts’ Benjamin Morley playing a solo set. Mice on Stilts traverse genre distinctions to create their own brand of unique sound. Check out the album “Hope for a Mourning” and become entranced.
Hear how Tom Waits would sound if his voice wasn’t a cigarette car crash; see how Nick Cave would perform if he swapped his piano for a guitar.
Taste how much better the whisky is in the company of a delightful rogue.
The CHEAP WHISKY Tour: best experienced with a jar or two.
