Nadia Reid possesses a measured melancholia that speaks eloquently of the smoldering embers of life's firestorms. At 22, her much lauded EP 'Letters I Wrote And Never Sent' received critical acclaim in 2011. Reid's track 'Rise and Fall', penned at 17, came to be featured in Gerard Smythe's post Christchurch Earthquake Film 'When A City Falls', and has accumulated several large national tours under her belt.
Raised in Port Chalmers, a coming of age in the musical mecca of Christchurch, followed by a building of song towers in the metropolis of Auckland, Reid is presently hunkered down in the Capital crafting songs for her debut LP 'Listen to Formation, Look for the Signs' due for independant release in 2014.
Nadia Reid is a professional busker and is joined by Richard Pickard for the 2014 World Buskers Festival.
