The Boondocks return to perform in their hometown of Waiuku, at The Kentish Hotel on the 27th of September. Free Entry.
The Boondocks are a fresh, keen, two-piece rock act hailing from Auckland’s Āwhitu Peninsula, combining the vocal and bass talents of Scott Parker with the kit-crunching stamina of Branden Pritchard. Taking inspiration from grunge, punk, and modern rock, the duo deliver an energetic sound, with bouncy hard-rock riffs and catchy, memorable melodies.
After bursting onto the Auckland music scene in July 2022, The Boondocks have rapidly risen to prominence, earning a reputation as unforgettable, high-energy performers who never fail to get the crowd jumping.
In their short time as band, they have already accomplished a lot. Having had all five of their tracks on major rock radio (The Rock FM, Radio Hauraki)and in the charts, as well as have performed multitude of headlining sold-out shows, Soundsplash, and supporting national heavyweights such as Racing and Dead Favours.

No Strangers
No Strangers is a dynamic 4-piece from South Auckland, blending modern indie with the raw edge of 90s grunge. The band — featuring Samuel Hart and Josh McCrae on guitar and vocals, Cooper Hart on drums, and Luke Everett on bass guitar — came together over a shared love for making loud noises and having a great time while they’re at it.
