Listen: Brian Tamaki and the Kool Aid Kids - Eating Glue
Christchurch psych-shoegaze outfit Brian Tamaki and the Kool Aid Kids are sharing their excellent single 'Eating Glue' as they prepare to release a new EP. The driving track first appeared late last year as a solo recording on the Hot Buttered Blasphemy album, but has been given a new lease of life with a five-piece band transforming it into an almost entirely different piece of music that has a female taking up the lead vocals. The recording was done with Brian Ferry (drums), Ben Dodd (bass), Violet French (guitar, vocals), Jamie Stratton (guitar) and Luke Towart (guitar). Stay tuned for more details on the forthcoming EP and enjoy 'Eating Glue' below...
Brian Tamaki and the Kool Aid Kids are playing this Friday 26th June at Castrols Garage in Christchurch alongside Music Sucks and Moonpup, head over here for details.
