Listen/Watch: Slayer - Repentless
Thrash metal masters Slayer have unleashed the breakneck title-rack from their forthcoming 11th studio album, Repentless. The shredding cut has been unveiled with a video comprised of live and studio footage, and also comes some details about the record's release. The 12-track offering is the first studio album from the Californian group since 2009's World Painted Blood, and is the first record from the group since the death of founding member Jeff Hanneman in 2013.
Co-founder Kerry King says 'Repentless' is an ode to Hanneman, calling it the "Hannemanthem" adding: "I wrote that for Jeff. Oh, dude, it’s fast as fuck. You don’t know what the fuck’s coming!". The album is due out 11th September via Nuclear Blast, and will apparently be followed by extensive touring by the group. In the meantime get this in your ear holes...
