Stream Dad Jokes' New EP 'Bad Friends'
Pizza-loving garage duo Dad Jokes are streaming their new EP Bad Friends, the pair's first release since signing to Muzai Records. The Auckland city two-piece recorded the four-track offering live-to-tape while in Seattle earlier this year with the assistance of Nick Botka, and then brought it back for Tom Anderson to work his mastering magic. The release is bookended by two tracks that have already had public airing, it opens with 'Bad Friend' which was teased out earlier this month, and closes with the excellent homage to muscle man Jean-Claude Van Damme, 'J-C-V-D' that saw a single release back in June. Sandwiched in the middle is two cuts you probably haven't heard before (except maybe if you've caught these guys live, which you should have). Keep an eye out for the Bad Friends cassette due to drop any day now, and in the meantime get a load of this...
