BadBadNotGood Heading To New Zealand in September

Instrumental hip hop/jazz trio BadBadNotGood (BBNG) are heading to New Zealand in September for two shows. Hailing from Toronto Canada, they play a mix of original material and interpretations of tracks from a diverse range of artists such as Kanye West, James Blake and My Bloody Valentine. They have become closely associated with the Odd Future collective, collaborating with Earl Sweatshirt on his new album Doris and touring with Frank Ocean as his backing band. Coming off the back of performing as not only Frank Oceans main support but also touring backing band, and production on OFWGKTA's Earl Sweatshirts soon to be released 'DORIS' album come a young post-bop, instrumental hip hop jazz trio from Toronto, Canada making their way to New Zealand for 2 exclusive shows.

Their energetic live set is made up of a selection of a few original songs and a diverse selection of covers from artists such as Kanye West, James Blake, TNGHT, Joy Division, Odd Future, My Bloody Valentine and A Tribe Called Quest to name a few.

- 2012/13 Headlined slots at Coachella and both the Mad Decent & Fools Gold Block Party US tours

- Gilles Peterson named them as one of the 'next big acts to watch' for 2012 and personally brought them over to the UK for the Worldwide Awards to perform alongside SBTRKT, Michael Kiwanuka and Jamie XX.

- They just finished working with Earl Sweatshirt from OFWGKTA for his hugely anticipated upcoming release DORIS and they've also collaborated with Tyler, The Creator & OFWGKTA in the past.
