SongHubs Sphere Participants Announced
APRA AMCOS have announced a lineup of all-female identifying participants for the upcoming SongHubs Sphere initiative, which teams local artists with prominent figures of the international music community, with the aim of creating new collaborative works at Auckland's Roundhead Studios. The project is part of the Suffrage 125 national programme of events, which marks the 125th anniversary of women’s suffrage in New Zealand. SongHubs Sphere seeks to celebrate women's achievements and address the evident and ongoing gender imbalance in our music industry, and will take place from Monday 6th August to Saturday 11th August. The workshops will be accompanied by a series of seminars where the guests can share their knowledge with the wider community. The programme is curated by LA via Auckland singer and producer Chelsea Jade (whose long-awaited debut album Personal Best is out on Friday) - the next-level talent involved guarantees there's amazing stuff on the way, here is the lineup of participating artists...
