Estere Shares Exploratory Single 'Nomads' + Live Video

Wellington-based electronic singer and producer Estère has unveiled her latest single 'Nomads' ahead of the release of her long-awaited double album My Design, On Others' Lives,  dropping late April. The soaring tune roams from acoustic balladry to club-focussed electronics, as the artist reflects on the impact of geo-political boundaries on personal identity. Estère is celebrating the release of her record with a quick North Island tour in early May, read her words on 'Nomads' and check out an accompanying live video below...

“Nomads is about exploring identity and where we come from... Everyone is of a people that at some point migrated from another place. I think a lot of the time, group migration is extremely painful and is born of life-shattering circumstances. But it’s also amazing how human beings can transcend borders - through shared experiences. I think now more than ever, it’s important that we open our hearts and homes to people who have been forced to leave their motherlands.”
