'Full Noise' Punk Festival Announced For March
Fans of loud guitars and vocal snarls will have their sonic thirsts satiated in March with the announcement of the first instalment of the Full Noise punk festival in Auckland. The two evenings of cacophony will see bands from all ends of the punk spectrum converge from around the country on the Grey Lynn Library Hall.
Appearances will include long running, Wellington-based d-beat/crust legends Rogernomix, Nelson-based newcomers Feral Blood, Dunedinite post-hardcore crew Swallow’s Nest, powerviolence thugs Stress Ghetto and Auckland favourites Sick Old Man, Club Stupid and Slug Hugger. The gathering will also feature a day show with DJs spinning weird and wonderful aural oddities accompanied by DIY market stalls offering punk rock records, tapes, CDs, patches and more.
