Wellington songwriter Raiden Freeman has shared a collection of fuzzed out alt-pop tunes Deep Farm, featuring a number of special guests including Joe Locke (P.H.F.), Reuben Winter (Totems, Milk), Lawrence Goodwin (Career Girls, Pleasure Majenta) and more. Songs range from mellow balladry to frenetic guitar freakouts, with Freeman's lilting vocals being complimented in some passages by spoken word snippets from luminaries including David Foster Wallace and John Maus. The casual vibe of the DIY recordings recalls the accomplished lo-fi pop of US artists Guided By Voices, check out Deep Farm below...
