Gate Shares Atmospheric Album 'Highway Ghosts'

Dunedin sonic innovator Gate aka Michael Morley (The Dead C, The Fuck Chairs) has followed the release of his surprisingly dancefloor-compatible album BTYLCS with a new collection of long-form electronic soundscapes titled Highway Ghosts. The record features two twenty minute compositions of minimal drones comprised from a sample library including singing bowls, bamboo and metal chimes, and wind sounds; and carries forward the artist's previous drone-work on long-players My Dear Sweet Reluctant Sweetheart and Freedom Ghosts. The tones are sometimes so subtle you can almost forget you're hearing them, but are rewarding of deep immersive listening. Lose yourself in Highway Ghosts below...
