Listen To The Masterful Madness Of 'Ennui' By Opium Eater
Tuesday 10th October, 2017 1:10PM
Wellingtonian post-metal four-piece Opium Eater have shared the eponymous single from their second full-length album Ennui. The track is an 11-minute journey through clean guitar arpeggios through to ISIS style heavy sections and back again, while subtle builds in overdubbed parts sink into the listener's subconsciousness. Engineered and mixed by James Goldsmith at Blue Barn studio in Wellington and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege in Portland, Oregon, Ennui is out this Thursday 12th October through Australian label Art As Catharsis.
Opium Eater are throwing a release party for the album on 14th of October at Caroline in Wellington along with Hollywoodfun Downstairs and Sheeps. See below for full details.
