Listen to Totems' Slamming New Single 'D. Bell'

Auckland producer Totems' (Reuben Winter aka Milk) has released another taste of his forthcoming self-titled album due out later this month. Titled 'D. Bell', the track summons the ghost of 93 'ardcore with sampled wind chimes, crushing baselines and epileptic breakbeats. Definitely a dancefloor slammer, the track goes in hard and dark before swerving in a chill direction reminiscent of the artist's recent meditative live ambient performances.  Here are a few words from the man himself about the new track...

"The main loop in the first half was made in Daif King's (Stalker) room two years ago when PHF stayed in there and I got everyone in the band to shake all of his wind chimes (like four sets lol bloody grass head) for two solid minutes then compressed the whole recording into a two bar loop in Ableton. It's very much influenced by '92 - '94 era happy hardcore."
