Dunedin Act Strathcona Pl Shares New Single 'Death Means'
Elusive Dunedin act Strathcona Pl surfaced out of the blue earlier this year with the Young Marble Giants-sounding single 'Seams', and now the artist (or artists) have re-emerged with 'Death Means'. While the single is a change of pace from its predecessor, it takes the same heartfelt and earnest tone that make it instantly endearing.
The song, as with 'Seams', was mixed and mastered by Tex Houston and features additional instrumentation (guitar, bass, keys, programming) by Peter McCall. According to the artist's Bandcamp page there is an EP on the way, but in the meantime check out 'Death Means' below, and if you buy it via Bandcamp all proceeds go to Rape Crisis Dunedin...
