Soak Up The Bubbling Brilliance Of WhyFi's New Release 'Dishwash Cookie'
Auckland producer and Grow Room affiliate WhyFi has let loose his brilliant album Dishwash Cookie. A solid offering from start-to-finish, the 12-track album is made up of a collection of unreleased music conjured up by WhyFi over the last two years, but rather than sounding like a mish-mash of material the record traverses a lot of ground fairly seamlessly, bringing to mind the likes of Funkadelic, Sun Araw and Edan all of whom have a knack of combining psychedelic experimentation with absorbing rhythms.
If you have time for one tune only dive into singles 'Little Puppy Blue' or 'Find My Way Back Home', otherwise stream the full record below, and keep your eyes peeled as word has it there's more to come from the WhyFi camp....
You can catch WhyFi as part of NZ Psych Fest in Auckland later this month, head over here for more information
