PRESS RELEASE:
After a sold out event in Auckland, Anthonie Tonnon will bring his Vinyl release show to the South Island - playing Christchurch at The Darkroom Gallery on Saturday August 29th, and Dunedin at Taste Merchants on Sunday August 30.
Tonnon will sell the vinyl version of Successor, which wasn't available at his most recent South Island dates, with tickets to the limited capacity shows. He'll be bringing a solo set that promises some 'surprising technical evolutions,' off the back of his recent Australian release tour.
He's offering an early bird special, where punters can buy a ticket to the show and a record, for the same price of a Vinyl record and shipping from his website.
Since touring Successor around New Zealand in March, Tonnon has picked up a top 20 nomination for the APRA Silver Scroll for the song 'Water Underground', opened for Paul Kelly, and released the album in the USA and Australia, even making appearances in top 20 NZ album and US CMJ radio charts in the process.
