Dr T & The Dangerous Women will head north of the Rakahuri to raise the roof of Balcairn Hall! Bring your dancing shoes for the fast ones and a handkerchief for the slow ones.
Dr T & The Dangerous Women play Americana music tinged with dust of the high deserts and flavoured by the borderlands of California. Performing a range of material, originals and uniquely arranged covers, the five members utilising stand-up bass, bass guitar and cello (Alexandra Bidwell); accordion and piano (Sophia Bidwell); fiddle and mandolin (Anna Bowen); guitars (Dr Hyram Twang) and with a blend of male and female voices (Hyram and Claire Louise) they seem to entrance their audience and transport them to another place and time. All the members of the band have significant musical pedigrees of their own and bring their various talents and experience fully to this project.
Alcohol free – raffles – CD sales - famous free country supper - ROAR – Bring a cushion!
The profits from all performances go back to maintaining our local and historic Balcairn Hall and its surrounding property.
