Be Extraordinary at CubaDupa!

New Zealand’s largest immersive outdoor arts festival is back for its fourth annual extravaganza bringing samba sounds, brass beats, street opera and dance workshops along with much more to the Capital's iconic Cuba Street.

Express yourself at CubaDupa this March as you join musical street parades, with their funky percussive energy weaving through the pedestrianised Cuba Quarter. With futuristic themes, extraordinary tape art and galaxy light dresses, fancy dress is definitely encouraged.

With over 140 acts and 250 performances - there is something for everyone! You are part of the show as the lines blur between performer and audience. Taste festival eats from around the globe as the diverse range of local eateries and watering holes along Cuba move out onto the street.

The festival's world class reputation has spread far and wide, attracting international feature acts including New Orleans’ Free Agents Brass Band, Toronto’s guerilla-punk-balkan-folk-brass band, Lemon Bucket Orkestra, and Spain’s spectacular Drums of Fire.
