For the average man, growing up in Hamilton would be reason enough to give up on life. But when you’re coming via J-Berg via Rwanda, H-Town starts to look a little more like the sunset strip. Raiza’s music encapsulates parts of all of these places. One part philosopher, one part student. Something like a narrator. With a cadence like if Morgan Freeman could spit. Political, without the beret. Emotive without the manicured stubble. Dude may have even read a book at some stage in his life.

As one part of the AmmoNation collective, Blaze has featured on tracks with Raiza Biza, Tony Douglas [CTFD], KVKA [Stay Savage] and more. To date he has released a several singles and a self-titled EP which sent him on a string on shows nationally.Coined ‘King Wavvy’ by one fellow Hamilton artist, Blaze plays a large part in building Hamilton’s music scene and identity, which is growing into a spot well known for quality artistry.
