“Kids don’t go to gigs anymore”
“Rock is dead”
Bakers Eddy ( Wellington) Dead Beat Boys ( Auckland) and Skelter (Christchurch) are out to prove that this is not the case, with a collaborative tour of the three main cities this August titled “Three’s a Crowd”.
Friends from the touring circuit over the last few years, each band is known for their dynamic live performance and the sense you get from watching them that they are all about having as much fun as possible from their creative endeavours.
Each band has also achieved significant support from the music industry – noting that all three are “the ones to watch”. Skelter and Bakers Eddy currently have their latest NZ on Air funded single playing on The Rock, Bakers Eddy are about to go on Decent Exposure on The Edge TV and Dead Beat Boys received NZ on Air funding and radio airplay for their previous single “2”.
