Karangahape Road is a constant bustle of culture on the quietest of nights, and come 2 September it will come to life on a whole new level with The Others Way Festival - a unique, locally-run day of Auckland's best alternative music, performing across multiple venues. Thanks to Flying Out and 95bFM, The Others Way features an impressive roster of local artists across six K'Rd venues for a one-stop A-Z dip into the waters of kiwi music paradise. Taking inspiration from international music festivals CMJ and SXSW, attendees can map out their own trajectory for the event, hitting the streets to seek out Aotearoa’s most interesting, cutting-edge and established indie, electronica, hip hop, and alt-pop, as curated by Flying Out. Venues and stages for the festival are bigger and better than ever before, with The Studio, Galatos (upstairs and down), Neck of the Woods, Whammy Bar and Whammy Backroom, Wine Cellar, Las Vegas Strip Club, and Samoa House.
The full line-up will be announced soon - be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the go-to info on this crazy lineup of amazing bands and artists, situated on K’Rd, the cultural pulse point for Auckland night-life. Tickets will sell out - so don't play it cool, get in quick to catch The Others Way on 2 September.
