This month we are very happy to welcome David Merritt back to the Poetry in Motion stage. David is a poet from the back of beyond who creates poetry books from the detritus of established books, recycling them, adding his own poetics and saving them from the landfill. The man behind the David Merritt Poetry Experience will be joining us on the 1st of July to share some of his poetic genius with us.
As always, we’ll have the open mic (limited spaces this month, so show up early if you’d like to perform).

**Slam Details!**
We have space for 12 slammers and will run 2 or 3 rounds depending on how many slammers enter. You will need at up to three poems. The rules!
* Original material only
* No props, costumes or music
* Three minute time limit, with ten seconds grace. After that we start deducting points!
* Time starts as soon as you start talking
$3 - 5 cover charge. All welcome!
