SOLID GOLD HELL to play long-awaited headline show at the Kings Arms, Auckland, on Friday 13th September.
Formed in the wake of New Zealand noise rockers SPUD, Solid Gold Hell was a continuation of that group's lurching sound with more garage punk and less avant sonics. Releasing two albums Swingin' Hot Murder (1994) and The Blood and the Pity (1996).
This is certain to be one of those rare occasions to see one of New Zealand's seminal noise, “southern Gothic” outfits headline a show at the hallowed Kings Arms.
Support for the show comes from 95bFM favourites Las Tetas, and industrial-folk band Girls Pissing on Girls Pissing, who are about to make their debut in Australia with their most recent album/ book, “Eeling”
