After taking a breather from music-filled nights through 'Hi Times' at HISO from the end of last year, we're revving up the machine again. This time, bringing you The Upside—a series of rooftop parties at our iconic HISO.

Expect DJs familiar and foreign, special guests and sweeping Auckland views.

About Teto
TETO spent her formative years as a regular in Tāmaki Makaurau’s club circuit, exploring an array of styles within house music and refining her sound as a DJ. Since graduating from the downtown scene she has played festivals all across the country such as Rhythm & Vines, Hidden Valley, That Weekend and Baseline, as well as supported international acts such as Oliver Dollar, Rebuke, Salute, Baltra, Cut Snake, Confidence Man + many more.

About Ethan
In the Auckland and wider NZ music & DJ scene, Ethan Jupe is quickly building a reputation as a real funk-maestro. Despite being a young lad at only 24, his slick & classy sound is heavily influenced by 90’s house and early disco.
Primarily a multi-instrumentalist producer, his ear and musicality is what guides his abilities behind the decks.
Think the grooviest of basslines, rhythmic percussion, funky guitar riffs and the odd vocal banger - his calculated palette of tunes is diverse, and meticulously crafted to fill any dance floor.
From previous successes in a widely regarded DJ duo HarrisonJupe, Ethan is no stranger to the biggest of stages that NZ has to offer - having played at Rhythm & Vines, Synthony, Coro Classic, and many other sell-out shows.
